Leket Israel is Israels National Food Bank and largest food rescue organization, providing tens of millions of pounds of excess fresh produce and cooked meat meals to 300,000+ Israelis in need each week. The surplus food is rescued from hundreds of farmers, hotels, and caterers throughout Israel and delivered, free of charge, to Israelis of all backgrounds and religions through the organizations non-profit partners. Leket Israel is apolitical and the only organization rescuing fresh food en masse for distribution to struggling Israelis.
