A Quarter Century of Community Impact Through Architectural Design
A Quarter Century of Community Impact Through Architectural Design
Since 1999, LAN Associates’ Goshen, New York office has designed schools, churches, municipal buildings, and other community, business, and residential spaces in Goshen and the surrounding area. As architects and engineers, we play a literal role in building the communities we serve, and our company culture is very much grounded in the idea that we are your neighborhood architect. We live in the communities we serve, and our roots go well beyond shaping the built environment. As we celebrate LAN’s Goshen team’s 25th anniversary, we wanted to highlight some of our major projects in Goshen and the surrounding area, as well as select projects from other long-time clients.
Working With Our Hometown School District in Goshen, NY
LAN’s connection to our hometown’s schools in Goshen, New York, is more than a long-term business partnership that includes collaboration on several major projects, it is also personal. Many of LAN’s staff have children who are or will be attending the Goshen school system, so when LAN was retained for projects like the $30.4M bond referendum in 2015, LAN’s architects felt an extra sense of pride.
This project included the creation of a new cafeteria, auditorium, administrative wing, security system, STEAM Lab, and athletic facility for Goshen High School. A new 16,000 sf addition was also designed that includes administrative offices, a guidance suite, a nurse’s office, four classrooms, and a dedicated lobby.
